The Clara Collar Cardigan is a cardigan with a large scalloped lace collar and balloon sleeves. The cardigan is worked top down starting from the back and shaped with a European drop shoulder. Stitches for each front are picked up and shaped for the neckline. The fronts and back are joined together and the cardigan is worked flat.

Then, stitches are picked up for the sleeve to be worked in the round. The top of the sleeve is worked using German Short Rows and rapid decreases are worked before the cuff. A lateral braid is added before working the ribbed cuff. Stitches are then picked up around the neck to work the collar. Next, a double knit button band is worked on each front. Finally, stitches are picked up for the 1x1 ribbed neckband worked with German Short Rows, then folded down.
