About
The Stella Sun Bag is a crochet and knitting hybrid pattern. It is perfect for intermediate or confident beginner knitters that want to not only learn some new knitting techniques, but dabble into crochet as well. The crochet techniques used are beginner friendly and video tutorials are included within the pattern.
The base of the bag features two floral granny squares that are joined together. Each side of the bag is worked separately and joined seamlessly as you go. After the front and back are finished, the pieces are joined seamlessly together at the bottom using a garter stitch border. The top of the bag is then worked in the round in stockinette.
At each side seam, a strap tab is added with a d-ring to attach a removable strap. A lining is sewn and added together with a metal zipper. Finally, a thick and sturdy strap is crocheted and attached to swivel clasps. The strap is attached to the bag and the bag is finished!

20 sts x 36 rows = 10 cm | 4 inches. Using 3.5mm | US 4 needles, measured in lace texture after blocking.
